Relay for Life committee members are students that come from different backgrounds and interests to unite for a cure. Relay for Life is an event that benefits the American Cancer Society. Cancer has such a pronound effect in our lives so this is an opportunity for students to come together and ignite change. All profits from the event benefit The American Cancer Society in hopes of finding a cure for cancer. Students on the Relay for Life Committee spend all school year preparing for the event in March. There are so many aspects that go into making the event successful. Loyola Maryland is a relatively small school but our Relay for Life event has been recognized nationally for the amount of money we are able to raise.
