A Loyola alum, Steve Nichols returns to his alma mater to make Loyola Soccer what it once was. He was head coach of Mcdonough High School for over 20 years prior to his appointment to the greyhounds. His ability to recruit and to motivate players will help lead Loyol back to a top 10 soccer program. He played for James Madison, then transferred into Loyola for 2 years, following college Nichols went on to play for the Baltimore Blast.
Mike Marciano is entering his first year as assistant coach for the greyhounds, who brings experience from West Point as he served 2 years as assistant coach at Army University. He also has bags of experience with playing as he won 2 national championships playing for Maryland. Mike is a baltimore native and has an incredible knowledge about the game of Soccer.
Matt Dwyer, a native from Burnley, England complete the coaching staff for the Loyola Mens Soccer team. He has been with the greyhounds for 7 years now, and was Mark Mettricks assistant when he was head coach. Matt Dwyer played for the Burnley youth team while growing up in England, he was also selected for a few reserve team games while at the club and then decided to move out to America. He brings a variety of different skills to the coaching staff.
