What events are you looking forward to?
There are many events both in the water and out during the summer on the cape. Whether they are in the neighborhood or in West Falmouth, there is always something for you to do. Everday at the Saconesset Beach there is swimming, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, and sand castle buidling (your own equipment is required). For events in the neighborhood, mark your calenders with our annual events that occur at the beginning and end of the summer.
Our newest event is the kayak race. This 5 mile race takes place right at the Saconesset Beach. Starting at the entrance of the beach, the race route takes you to the swamp past the jetti, then loops back around to the entrance for the big finish! Weekly events in the town include the Monday Night Jazz Band, which plays every Monday from 5pm-7pm on the Main Street Courtyard. Be sure to check out this free event! On Wednesday nights, don't miss the lobster dinner in the courtyard. For $10 per adult and $5 per child or senior, the whole family can enjoy an all-you-can eat lobster buffet every Wednesday night of the summer. Finally, end your week with the Friday Flea Markets, where you can purchase gifts and collectables that you can only find in Cape Cod!
