The Mid-Atlantic Climbing Series is a set of climbing competitions hosted by various colleges in the Maryland and Pennsylvania region. There are 7 competitions all together and to qualtify in the series you must climb in 4 out of 7 competitions. Winners are determined by highest cumulative score in each category. These competitions are a great way to get involved with the climbing community, which gives you a chance to meet and befriend other climbers from surrounding schools. There are also cool prizes, new climbs, and fun times to be had at any one of these competitions.
Climbers can compete as beginner, intermediate, or advance in either women's or men's categories.
The series has 2 specific bouldering competitions, Gettysburg and St. Mary's. It also has 3 specific top roping competitions, Loyola, Hopkins, Towson. There are 2 that host a competition that offer both bouldering and top roping, York College and University of Maryland.
